Intergraf ISO 14298 – the certification for security printers: implementation and benefits for security printers and end customers

In this presentation the audience will learn more about Intergraf ISO 14298:2013 certification and what role certification plays in continuous improvement of a company’s security management system processes. Intergraf ISO 14298:2013 is the standard in the security printing industry and assures a high grade of security on different standardised levels towards end-user customers, including governments and tendering issuing authorities.
Detailed information about the main advantages of Intergraf ISO 14298:2013 for a certified security printing company and what benefits is has for the end customer will be presented. The standard promotes the ongoing further development of security aspects and increases customer confidence and satisfaction.

Biography


Marc Been holds a BSc. degree from Rotterdam HES where he studied Management, Economy and Law. He started his career in 1999 working for a supplier of offset printing machines in The Netherlands. In 2002 he joined an international supplier of graphic materials were he was responsible for all marketing business.
As the owner of MBE Compliance B.V., Marc joined VPGI Certification B.V. in 2006. He has been the Managing Director of the company, which is mainly active in the security printing industry since 2011.
Due to his experience in security printing Marc was elected as Convenor of ISO/TC130/WG10 in September 2011. He is responsible for ISO 14298, management of security printing processes. In addition, he also consults for national banks with respect to improving their security risk management processes and is participating in building projects for security companies.
